Dmytro Finashyn, a Hero of Ukraine, suffered severe injuries while holding positions in the east of the country 🇺🇦
For three days, he was surrounded by enemies without access to food and water, with multiple injuries and a broken arm. Our military found and evacuated Dmytro to the hospital. Due to extensive tissue necrosis that had reached his back, a decision was made to amputate his left hand.
Thanks to the combined efforts of the Victor Pinchuk Foundation, the coordinating support of volunteers from the “Life Saving Center,” and specialists from the Kyiv Rehabilitation Institute, Dmytro Finashyn received qualified rehabilitation assistance and later underwent prosthetic treatment at the “InovaMed” clinic in Krakow, Poland.
Dmytro Finashyn is an example of the indomitable spirit and resilience of our soldiers. His strength and willpower are an inexhaustible source of inspiration for all of us 💪🏻
Glory to Ukraine and its heroes who defend the freedom and independence of our country 🇺🇦
