The story of helping Andriy Sobkovsky, an employee of Ukrzaliznytsia.
When an enemy missile hit Andriy, a concrete slab crushed both his legs. He was unable to get out on his own, and only half a day later he was rescued from the rubble. It was already clear that the young man’s lower limbs could not be saved.
His relatives turned to various foundations for help. First, the volunteers of the Life Saving Center took Andriy to the Kyiv Rehabilitation Institute. After a series of rehabilitation procedures, Andriy was fitted with mechanical prostheses.
Unfortunately, they turned out to be uncomfortable. Once again, thanks to the efforts of the Life Saving Center, Andriy was able to have bionic prostheses fitted in America.
Now the young man has returned to Ukraine and continues to work for Ukrzaliznytsia.
